gallery

What is great about Borth is just how much is packed into a small place....a bit like 2 London Place; it is a gallery showing local artist's work in a rolling exhibition programme as well as being a showcase for the sublime taste of owner/curator/Borth resident Sadie Everard. There are lampshades, rugs, plates, tea towels, candles and more....well worth a browse as you meander through the village.

If you can catch this place open it is another space housing some of Borth's artistic talents...mostly the ceramic work of Annie Ferris https://www.thehareandtheelephant.co.uk/...also there is a funky vintage section at the side.

cinema

What can I say? Borth has a cinema, possibly the most spacious and comfortable cinema experience you can have outside of your own living room. And also there is a bar for pre movie drinks and if you book in time a fabulous restaurant upstairs.

Sightseeing

Ynyslas is where the river Dovey meets the sea. On one side of the sand dunes is the estuary where Aberdovey looks within walking distance on the other is the sea and a beach stretching all the way to Borth in the south. It is a great walk from Borth or you can drive and park at the edge of the dunes for a small fee. There is a visitor centre with information about the dunes and the wildlife living in them. It is great fun to roll down the sandy slopes as long as you don't mind getting sand everywhere.

Another Borth delight...great indian fare to eat in or takeaway. Take your own booze if you want a beer with your food.
