Great little costal city to visit for dinner. Enjoy a dinner at Dockside Seafood House (The Boundary House is an excellent choice too!), and walk out on the fishing dock while you wait. Calabash Creamery is an iconic ice cream shop & must visit. Be sure not to skip Callahans store afterward for some shopping.

Shallotte is the go-to for any essentials you may need beyond a grocery store. Here you'll find a hospital, Lowes, Walmart, etc.

Less than a mile from Five-0, Town Center Park is a great and recently updated spot on the island. Brand new playground, and recreation area.
