Locally grown organic food, creatively prepared by imaginative chef. Everything's tasty but my special favorite is his Brussell Sprouts w/cheese & nuts - amazing!

Besides lots of movie theatres, with first-run features, and a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and shops, there are street vendors, musicians and entertainers of all sorts. Very entertaining and unusual. A big tourist draw which locals frequent as well.

Parks & Nature
On a clear day, the sunsets over the ocean are spectacular! It's a very good time for a leisurely stroll through Palisades Park, above Pacific Coast Highway, or along the beach - which can be reached by foot over the bridge. In winter, the sun sets about 4:30pm.

On a clear day, the sunsets over the ocean are spectacular! It's a very good time for a leisurely stroll through Palisades Park, above Pacific Coast Highway, or along the beach - which can be reached by foot over the bridge. In winter, the sun sets about 4:30pm.
A short drive up the Coast is the glorious Temescal Canyon, part of a National Park, which has great hiking trails - from a short walk to a 2.5 mile hike up to a waterfall (when there's been enough rain) and circle back with an awesome view of the ocean.
