Haunted hamburger is a great place to eat in Jerome. Its a super busy restaurant, so get there at eleven when they open or earlier if you are visiting on the weekend. There is usually a wait.

In the summer, this place is packed so arrive early. It's a short little hike right to the water. You have to pay to park and the parking lot fills up fast. You can bring an ice chest, or a picnic, and have fun in the shallow, slippery water.

Or you can buy ice right there and cook it later. Either way, the kids will remember feeding the fish (bring quarters) and then catching a trout.
