The only waterfall on the Mississippi. This is right next to the Mill City museum and where the Mill City farmers market is on Saturdays the Guthrie theater is across the street. They have guided tours you need to check out the schedule.

From 1880 to 1920 more flour was ground in Minneapolis than any place in the world. The wheat came from Western Minnesota and the Dakotas was ground here in Minneapolis and then shipped down the Mississippi river. This museum is in a flour mill that had exploded. On Saturday mornings there's a very nice farmer's market with with produce as well as cooked food. The stone arch bridge is also right there with beautiful views of downtown Minneapolis.

It's 13 short blocks from my house and just a short bus ride down 38th Street. The blue door cafe is 3 blocks away.

This is a nationally recognized theater. It's easy to get to by the light rail you get off at US Bank stadium. They have rush seating 10 minutes before a performance unsold seats are offered for $25. Many of these seats are corporate seats that are exlent.
