This is the tallest single-drop waterfall in NSW and the tallest in the Southern Hemisphere. There are four different ways to view the falls. First is the view near the car park at the top of the falls, and another is near the waterfall drop-off. (Both are easy effort). Then the 3rd option is a 10-minute walk down a timbered walkway to The Knoll. This viewing platform is directly opposite the falls for a top-to-bottom vista of the waters tumbling into the ravine below. The last option is worth the effort! Descending 641 steps to the base of the falls, with rest stops (that will be appreciated on the way up again). At the bottom is a rock pool misted by the spray of the water. Plenty of plant species, birds and animals to see along the way.
