Entertainment & Activities
Dodge Ridge is a great little ski resort. It has ski lessons and two lodges with food and drinks. I like to ski there because it's not a huge ski resort and it doesn't cost as much as Tahoe.

This is such a fun place to come and play mini golf. It's an older place, but still a lot of fun.

My grandfather used to come play at this golf course every time he came to the cabin. It's 9-holes and very well maintained.

Bring your kids here for some gold panning or a ride on an old west stage coach. Then go look at all the buildings that are set up as museums. You have the old school house, dentist, black smith. Plus there are restaurants that serve old time food and drinks.

We try to go to Cover's every time we come up to the cabin. They serve breakfast and lunch and even offer gluten-free items. They have pies you can purchase to take home. They have a petting farm and a small train you can take rides in.

This is the best pizza I've ever had. The owner/chef is from Europe and makes pizza like they do in Italy. He is an intriguing old world Italian, sometimes a little grumpy. He is very rule oriented, but it's worth it. He will not serve any parties over 8. There are no substitutions and you may not take any food home. He is brilliant when pairing wine to your pizza. We go with all this in mind and find humor in how different he is from Americans "customers first" way of thinking.
