My husband and I regularly have breakfast at Gail’s Bakery in Hove. They also sell excellent breads and baked goods. Not the cheapest but the quality shines through. Also good as a coffee stop.

We usually reward ourselves with a coffee when we arrive although there are numerous food options available. Excellent inside and outside seating areas. The internal fires are brilliant on a cold winter day.

We usually reward ourselves with a coffee when we arrive although there are numerous food options available. Excellent inside and outside seating areas. The internal fires are brilliant on a cold winter day.

Recommend the North Laines. Lots of small independent shops, food and drink outlets and market places. Great place to spend an afternoon when in Brighton.

There is also a great play area which is suitable for younger children. Good place to go if you have an hour or so to fill. Our grandchildren ages 3-11 always enjoy going here.
