This hike takes you to top of Cascade Head for spectacular coastal views--moderate--some uphill--about 3 miles. Home of rare butterflies. Peregrine Falcons Nest nearby. Park at the boat ramp at the end of Three Rocks Road and follow the signs to the Nature Conservancy Trail. If you love bird-watching, this is a treat.

Spectacular tidepools at low tide. Climb the dune, and slide down on a piece of cardboard. Build a fire, and have lunch on the beach. Between 2 and 3 pm daily, the dory boats come in to the beach. Lots of surfing here, too!
