Hand painted cushion covers, hand painted bags, hats, paper weights, and many more items. The gift shop also houses an assemblage of sea shells collected on the beach to make one-of-a-kind sea creatures. There is treasure for everyone to discover. The garden is home to more than 50 species of fern, unusual floral plants and beautiful trees in themed sections. Visitors may feed amazing colorful wild hummingbirds birds by hand and see other birds on a patio in our cottage garden. The country road to the sanctuary is 1/2 mile, winding uphill & bumpy, all part of the wilderness adventure. The experience isn't recommended for kids under 4 years. They may find it hard to sit still, and the movement scares the birds. Restroom on site. Do come and enjoy the relaxing experience, sip our complimentary perked coffee. Jamaica Swamp Safari Village was initially established in 1969 as a crocodile farm by an American, Ross Heilman aka Ross Kananga. Over time, Ross acquired other wild animals including a lion, and a pair of black leopards and he eventually began to welcome tour groups for daily shows. The farm would go on to earn notoriety as the location for the famous crocodile jumping escape in the 1972 James Bond film Live and Let Die. An interesting fact is that the actual crocodile jumping stunt was performed by Ross Kananga and the movie’s villain was named after him. Legend has it that the movie producers drove by Ross Kananga’s farm while on the island scouting for locations and became intrigued by a sign which read “Trespassers Will Be Eaten”. The rest as they say is history.
Jamaica Swamp Safari has been operated by River Raft Limited since 2011 and is located on 50 acres of natural mangrove habitat in Falmouth, Trelawny. The Safari’s main feature is the American Crocodile and is one of the few places where one can view crocodiles in every stage of development (from hatchlings to babies, juveniles and adults). Watch in awe as our resident crocodile expert Donald ‘Buddy’ Roach enters the crocodile pens housing large adult crocodiles to demonstrate their power and educate guests on these intriguing prehistoric creatures. Other features of the Safari include a large walk through aviary housing native and endemic doves and pigeons, the once thought extinct Jamaican Coney and the only Green Anaconda found in Jamaica. While on the walking guided tour, guests get the opportunity to hold a baby crocodile or a Jamaican Boa and to learn all about the Safari’s storied past.

Since that time the Green Grotto Caves has been transformed into a world class attraction winning Green Globe 21 Certification since 2003 and in 2009 achieving platinum-status certification.

"We visited this restaurant with no preconceived notions. The important thing is that we wanted a taste of our home food. As soon as my family and I came in, we saw a group of Africans, and after a few minutes, we realized they were Nigerians and were visiting from UK and Canada. Between making new friends and enjoying our delicious meals, we felt at home and enjoyed our experience. Has a great restaurant, bar with wonderful staff, walk-up window to Starbucks. Upon entrance, one can rent an umbrella and/or a beach chair. Current entrance fee is $6.00 USD

It is located near the airport, so you get to experience the plane landing nearly on the palm of your hand. Big plus, that unlike Doctor Cave Beach, this one is always open. You can catch an amazing sundown there. Most nights, you can catch locals just hanging out there, drinking (alcohol is sold there by private vendors-cash only), dancing... Definitely would recommend to experience local vibe

The Park is located along Howard Cooke Boulevard and approximately seven minutes from the Sangster International Airport. This free, public access Beach Park which spans 16 acres is the recreational focal point for the city of Montego Bay.
As with all UDC development projects, careful consideration has been made to manage the environmental sustainability of the Park. Its design incorporates the use of sustainable technologies to provide resiliency. In fact, the jogging trail at the facility is of a rubberized surface made of recycled materials for construction. Further, solar panels have been installed to supply the power needed at the administrative building. The Park is also home to several species of plants that are endemic to Jamaica. These have been planted throughout the grounds, adding to the overall aesthetic of the facility.
It is free to get in; however, you will pay for parking (per hour).
