Food Scene

Quaint roadside fruit and vegetable stand that turned into a small restaurant. The owner is friendly and usually hanging around talking to guests. This place is visited by both national and international tourists. It's a must-see! The food is delicious! The fried green tomato blt sandwich is favorite!

Unlikely place to find some of the best food in town. Recently swept most of the "Best of Vicksburg" categories for 2017. My favorites are the catfish creole, the $10 ribeye. This place also has karaoke Wednesday -Saturday nights. Friendly staff. It's the place where "everybody knows your name" and you feel like family before you leave.

The Attic Gallery is the oldest independent art gallery in the state of Mississippi. It features Southern folk art, contemporary fine art, handmade pottery, glass, jewelry, and many “blues” related items with funk mixed in. Fodors Guide to the South states “regional art, fine crafts chosen with a discriminating eye... a Southern rival to New York galleries.” Walk up the steps for the unusual. It ranges from Elvis to “our lady.”
