This is a free trail along the West coast of the lakes. It's beautiful, close, heavily wooded, and not entirely easy to find. it's also cool to say you hiked along the Continental Divide trail.

Consejos sobre la ciudad

bring boots, coats, and light weight gear too

obviously, it gets cold here. in the winter, expect snow. in the summer, expect frost at night. but even when super cold, inside you'll get hot, so bring layers. jeans aren't great, if they get wet.
Cómo moverse

best: all wheel drive with snow tires

you don't need snow tires. you don't need all wheel drive... until you do, and then it might be too late. the town is super cute, and you can totally walk to it from the house... but it is likely that you will be driving a lot. take care of yourself, go slow on ice and snow, and take any advantage for better traction.
