National Gallery of the Faroe Islands has a great selection of art from the islands. The collection is a mix of traditional and contemporary art. There is a permanent exhibition and a temporary exhibition. Among the artworks is an impressive glass and mirror installation by famous Faroese artist Tróndur Patursson. My favourite is the artist Ruth Smith and her paintings of her hometown Nes.
