Walk the Waterfront!
Our waterfront is going through a bit of a renaissance! Head down Webster Street in either direction; To the left, one mile walk toward the airport Hyatt. The view is awesome. Stop and have a cocktail at their outside patio and enjoy the spectacular view of the city! Follow the waterfront back keeping the little yacht club on your left, and walk through the Marina (gate closes at sundown). In the Marina stop at KO pies for an Aussie bite to eat and/or next door to Down East Cider for a tasting. Continue on to Piers Park for more amazing views. You can sit and watch the boats go by with city in the background.
You can also go straight to Piers Park by going right on Webster and at the end of the block (corner of Lamson St) cross the street and head down the "ally" to the stairs. (Yes, it is a public way) Piers Park is across the street to the right.
