Food scene

where to eat while you stay in Southfields.
An award-winning gastropub. It offers lovely food and has a great menu with a fab selection of beer and wine. At this a place you can eat really nicely and on a sunny and warm day you can enjoy your food and drink outside (they have benches by Merton Road). It’s Not a cheap place but, it's a great choice if you do value good food and relaxing atmosphere.

A fantastic Italian restaurant- food here is Just amazing. This is a popular restaurant by famous tennis players like Maria Sharapova who like to eat proper Italian food when they are in town for Wimbledon. It is not a pizza place so consider going there if you like to experience proper Italian cuisine.

The best French Bakery in Town. Buy Freshly made bread and patisseries everyday. It’s France at your doorstep. Visit this shop for fresh baguettes, lovely pastries and lots of other French cheese and other produce. The staff are always warm and friendly too (good opportunity to practice your French). They make fresh sandwiches too so, great to buy your own sandwich before hitting the town for sightseeing.

Wimbledon village is only 15 mins walk away from Wimbledon town centre. Wimbledon village is One of the most cute villages that you could see. Very affluent and up market but, walk around the village and absorb its cuteness. Full of nice places to eat and drink.
