This restaurant offers excellent food in an unusual and beautiful setting, on the grounds of the chateau de Nieuil.
The 60 euros menu is great value and the food is sourced locally where possible, includes canapes and a welcome drink, 4 courses including the cheese trolley and wine, coffee and chocolates.
It's a 45 mins drive to reach the restaurant but well worth the journey.

Restaurant le St Romain is the closest restaurant to the house and serves good food at great value. The chef is very friendly and the restaurant is always busy. Opens lunchtime Tuesday to Sunday and Friday/Saturday evening

They have a lunch 4 course meal with wine included for 23 Euros and the food is delicious. The cheese trolley is very impressive too. Worth a visit
