Canopy Tours Northwest

Breathtaking Forest Adventures Here at Camano Island’s Kristoferson Farm, a zip or a stroll through this sustainably managed forest really is a breathtaking experience. Owned and operated by a local family with roots on the island since 1912 and a firm commitment to sustainable forest stewardship and agricultural practices, this property demonstrates the relationship between those practices and the creation of beautiful spaces. The canopy tour allows us to share both the idea and the results all in the exciting context of an outdoor adventure which is, in a word, breathtaking. The tour includes: A ride in a 1963 Unimog off-road vehicle 6 zip lines over the creek and through the woods A log bridge 2 short trail walks A 47-foot final descent (don’t worry, we have a constant velocity device which does the work so you float down smoothly) Led by our fabulous guides!

Cama Beach State Park features a park store at the north end of the waterfront cabins (near the historic gas pumps). When the park was operated as a fishing resort, the store was always the social hub. Guests would come to buy their supplies and enjoy a visit with resort staff and old friends. Today, the park store is once again the hub of activity at the park. Visitors can purchase a variety of supplies at the store, including snacks, groceries and souvenirs. Catering arrangements can be made there for special gatherings.
