O'Neill's has one of the best locations in Cascais. Located in the old city centre on the plaza the pub has amazing views over the Cascais harbour and beach where locals and tourists play volleyball everyday and night. Definitely worth a visit to grab a pint of beer while watching the sun go down.

Super beautiful place, great for taking pictures and enjoying the view! Already the way up to the castle is really nice, and it feels like you're walking through a poetic fairy tale. Small paths under the trees, framed by little blue flowers... The castle itself is 8€, which is OK. You can walk along on the castle walls. Do take a scarf and jacket, it can get super windy up there.

The views are truly epic from the palace and the gardens are absolutely enchanting. The walk up to the palace through the gardens is quite challenging. One should definitely take water. It is only 13km from the Villa!

Local shepherds walk their goats and sheep down into the canyon. Many of the farmers pick oranges and lay them in baskets for wary hikers to munch on. It is only a couple minutes from the Villa and is definitely worth a morning stroll before heading in to town to enjoy an espresso.
