A nice, informal pub-chain (Brains) that has plentiful parking and a good selection of reasonably priced meals (including offers and deals on certain days). Also has one of the best Sunday carveries in the area!

About a fifteen minute drive from the annexe, Llansteffan beach is our closest sandy beach. Its actually on the estuary so probably wouldn't advise swimming but for walks and beach play this is perfect. There is plentiful parking adjacent to the sands.

The national gardens of Wales with the worlds largest single-span glass house. A great day out when the weather is dry - lots of things to see and they often have special events at weekends or during school holidays. About a 15 minute drive along the A48 towards Cross Hands.

Absolutely brilliant day out! About twenty five minutes away up the A40 towards Tenby, this place has everything a family could need - exotic animals (including Rhinos, Giraffes and Lions), a vintage fairground (including carousel), a big wheel, Tractor train tours, a farm barn where you can stoke animals like rabbits, goats, pigs, donkeys etc. Brilliant full day out if the sun is shining, but just as fun if its not! They also accept Tesco clubcard vouchers as payment (but I think you ma have to preorder tickets) if you wanted to keep costs down!

Absolutely brilliant day out!
