There is nothing like the beautiful sites of the red rocks against the ever changing sky in the desert! It is a wonderful place to see nature at its best. Stop on the way at Red Springs and Calico Basin. These are lovely and less crowded areas to get in a short hike or scramble to the top of the ridge. This is where we go to see the stars or the full moon in the night skies and enjoy a glimpse of the city from a far!

They have a great happy hour price on a few of their appetizer items. Really fun pizza choices and a a great spot off the Fremont Street Experience. Try it you will like it! I suggest the fried green beans and the meatballs! We also enjoy their quail egg pizza (it's spicy)!

We like to have a few beers or drinks at the places here at Town Center The Yard House has a great selection of on tap beers! Then The Lazy Dog Restaurant has some good selections of food and specialty drinks and beers. The selection here is nice and it's partly outdoors. Dining inside or on the patio at many of the places in Town Center!

Sightseeing
From the observation deck on the top of the Stratosphere you can see all of Las Vegas! It's fantastic to see it from that vantage point! Especially at night with all the beautiful sparkling lights. Also you can ride some hair raising rides that will leave a lasting impression on you from the top of the Stratosphere! Dare you to do it! LOL

Hoover Dam has history to be shared with the whole group. Tours are available if you wish to see what makes the dam so important to Nevadans and Californians alike. On one side of the dam you are in Arizona and on the other you are in Nevada! Sometimes we are on the same time zone and sometimes we are not! Interesting... There are nice observation points and you can walk out on the very high bridge if you want to see how far it is to the bottom! Go check it out next time you have the chance!

On one side of the dam you are in Arizona and on the other you are in Nevada! Sometimes we are on the same time zone and sometimes we are not! Interesting... There are nice observation points and you can walk out on the very high bridge if you want to see how far it is to the bottom! Go check it out next time you have the chance!

The interior is opulent and beautiful. The stage is viewed from many vantage points and the pricing is affordable for families or large groups. We enjoy the Nut Cracker performance every year! It is never the same. everyone loves the theater and all the cultural events held there! Hope you have a chance to check out The Smith Center during your visit...
