In the summertime, you can’t beat the downhill biking and trail biking. The village has lots of activities for the kids and adults alike. In town you will also find concerts, fairs and all sorts of events!!!

This is a great area for dispersed camping in the National Forest. You can go for miles in a 5th wheel with little trouble. Many large pull off camping areas for larger RVs. A few more choices for smaller trailers, and many more choices for tenters. From riverside to valley views are available. Good off roading with sporadic cell coverage at the higher peaks.
The Vasquez Peak Wilderness Area offers a beautiful drive very close to Winter Park, CO. This is where you are truly in the mountains. When you reach the top at 11,060 feet, you are presented with amazing panoramic views of the mountains. It is on the Continental Divide so there is plenty of snow.
