Classic small town restaurant! The decor hasn't changed since the 60's, which adds to the charm. It's super busy all the time, your coffee will never be empty, it seems like everyone knows everyone, and their pancakes and bacon are so good! We love breakfast here. Skol!

Fun place with great pizza and local brews. The decor is a fun take on Abraham Lincoln and the Union (the two streets cross at the corner). Fun trivia nights, casual vibe, and we especially love their wedge salad.

Sweet little spot for good coffee, good home-made soups and sandwiches, scones, and muffins. It's a cozy little place that's nice for a long conversation with a friend. Easy walk from my house.

Our favorite spot for really good and authentic Mexican food. Their smothered burritos are terrific, and their fajitas and molcajetes are superb. We actually think their food is better than many Mexican restaurants we've been to in the Southwest!

This place is like going to an old mansion in Ireland, where you eat in the neat old rooms that have beautiful woodwork, fireplaces and old world decor. Really good salad bar, very good walleye, Sunday Brunch, and a neat pub that makes you feel like you left the USA. Love it!

Uncle Eddie’s is the new addition to our sweet little town. For locals, it’s a blast because we don’t need to drive all the way to Battle Lake for a waffle cone anymore! Being that I’m friends and neighbors with the owners, I was able to check a bucket list dream off my list scooping ice cream for a summer and loving it :) Uncle Eddie’s offers over 40 different flavors, homemade waffle cones and bowls, and ample seating for larger groups.

This state park has a great paved looping trail around the lake that is perfect for young families. The park also features a nice beach for swimming, and dock for small boating (kayak, canoe, paddle boards, and paddle boats).

This state park has a great paved looping trail around the lake that is perfect for young families. The park also features a nice beach for swimming, and dock for small boating (kayak, canoe, paddle boards, and paddle boats).
Our own little zoo just outside of town! While it’s not flashy, it’s still a fun scene to be apart of. Nearby is an outdoor pool with big winding slides so bring your swimsuits!
