Parks & Nature
There are a number of beautiful sandy beaches in Porthcawl . Our closest beach (about 15 minutes walk) is on the Wales Coast Path and runs alongside some amazing sand dunes. There are often activities on the beach, including windsurfing and kayaking, that it is possible to watch.
As you walk towards the town of Porthcawl, there is another lovely cove with rock pools and lots of space to sit or play. The third beach is alongside the funfair, so in the summer also includes donkey rides and lots of stalls and bars with music and other events.
There is a rocky beach in the town itself and then on the far side of the town there is another lovely sandy beach which is popular with surfers.
