Mochos is only 9 km away by car (or 1 hour away by foot if you take "Voulgariko trail" from Stalis) and it is a big village (+1000 citizens).
-Every Wednesday there is a "Traditional Folks dance" event taking place at Mochos central square (starts around 8:30pm). You will listen Cretan music and dances in a decent quality although touristic event. And you will feel the nice atmosphere of a historic village
-If you visit Mochos by day then you can walk through the village and explore the traditional architecture, meet local people and have a greek coffee there! But you should know that during summer it is quite touristic...
