Te Waikoropupu Spring (most call it just pupu springs for ease!) has some of the clearest water on the planet. There is a beautiful trail that meanders through native forest and guides you to these wonderfully blue pools. Please be aware that It is forbidden to touch or swim in the water.

A short 15 min drive from the beachouse and you will find the Riwaka Resurgence. The water travels from under the Takaka hills through a network of caves and comes out at these pools. This activity is often a good option if the weather isn’t great for the beach.
