Maple Street Biscuit Company is a hip brunch spot just a few steps from Poole House. I’ve stopped by many mornings to grab a coffee while taking my dog to the adjacent park. My favorite menu item would be the chicken and waffles.

Lavretta Park is a three acre gated park located just around the corner from Poole House. This gated park features a walking track, playground, and baseball field. Dogs are welcome on a leash under the responsibility for there owners.

Great store, to pick up a few food items; located right off the park opposite to Maple Street Biscuit company. They have wonderful food, especially the gyros, made to order and items that you cant find anywhere else; spices , loose tea , and spiced nuts to name a few. They have a rather large wine selection as well. There is also a CVS, five minutes down Old Shell Rd for everything else.
