Sightseeing
We have used these guys a handful of times. Each time we get equipment that works well without issues. They tote you up the mountain and then pick you up at the designated spot when you get back. This is a GREAT time use for virtually every family member since it requires not too much endurance as it's 98%b downhill cruising. They have weehoos (little carriages), double bikes and bikes of all sizes. Highly recommend for summer sightseeing time!

Driving will be needed
Our rental house is located just 5 minutes away from town. The closest shuttle stop is about a mile. This doesn't seem too bad, in the summer-it's not terrible (downhill), but then coming back after a day on the slopes or shopping, you really don't want to hike another mile..uphill..in the snow.
The parking at the gondola is fairly cheap and having your vehicle there when you want to head back is worth it! There is an unload area at the slopes, but no parking. You can't leave your vehicle or it will be towed.

Ski Butlers
These guys will come to the rental house, fit your boots and ski's without the hassle of going to town. This is great if you have a vehicle large enough to tote you and your ski equipment back and forth to the slopes. You are required to rent your equipment for 3 days or more. You can find them online and you must reserve your fitting day prior to vacation time.
