Woodlawn is located on the south side of Chicago, only eight miles from downtown Chicago. Woodlawn features natural landscapes including the famous Midway Plaisance, within close proximity to the University of Chicago campus. Woodlawn is uniquely located between the Hyde Park and South Shore neighborhoods, with many vibrant attractions and close to the "Green Line" train. Additionally, Woodlawn is near Jackson Park which includes prominent features of the Osaka Garden, the Jackson Park Golf Course, Jackson Park Harbor, Wooded Isle, the gilded Daniel Chester French statue Republic (a replica of a much larger statue built for the Columbian Exposition), several lagoons, and the 63rd Street Beach with its magnificent beach house. Woodlawn is just minutes away from the world-renown Museum of Science and Industry, as well as the developing Obama Presidential Center.

Green Line Train
The nearest train stop is the "63rd and Cottage Grove" on the Green Line. On the Green Line train, "63rd and Cottage Grove" is the last stop going south if you are heading towards the Airbnb. The distance from the train station to the Airbnb is about one mile so you can either walk or take the "63rd Street" bus.
