Getting Around

Ticket to Glacier National Park
This summer Glacier National Park is limiting entry on the Going to the Sun Road corridor between Apgar-St. Mary. Tickets can be booked on Recreation.gov and are $2.00 and good for 7 days. If you do not have a ticket you will not be able to get in between May 28th-September 6th and the hours of 6am-5pm.

Be Bear Aware
We provide bear spray for you to carry with while hiking. Bear conflicts are rare and for the most part can be avoided by making noise and being aware of your surroundings.
Never leave food or garbage unattended outside for any length of time. If a bear approaches you and you have food do not abandon your food take the food with you or hold your ground and use bear spray to deter the bear from approaching. A fed bear is a dead bear.

Expect Crowds in Glacier
Glacier is a very busy place in the summer. If you want to get a parking spot get there EARLY. Last year Logan Pass parking lot was filling up at 8am.
This is true for other areas in Glacier as well. Better to get there early than realize you will not be able to park. Have a couple of other options in case you can't access the trails you were expecting to.
