If you have to check out early but have a late flight or can't check-in early, book a day pass at Sunstone spa. You can hang out and use all the amenities from 9am-7pm for $60. I love the private outdoor pool, spa and the eucalyptus steam room located inside the locker room . Included in your pass are light snack, water, hot tea and mock-tails.

Bar Cecil is located in South Palm Springs. Reservations well in advance are required for tables. They only have about 7 tables inside and a small outdoor patio with 10 tables at the most. The bar is open to walk-ins. We arrived a few minutes before opening at 5pm without a reservation, and were able to score two seats at the bar. If 5pm is too early, the next seating seems to be around 6:30pm, so try to arrive by 6:15pm, your not guaranteed a seat but it's definitely worth a shot. If you like Tequila try The Brock!
