So much to say about this place! the house and gardens are a must see! There are also many other things to do on the property. Shopping, biking, horseback riding, carriage rides and the popular wine tasting!

this trail is considered moderate and is 3.8 miles round trip. It leads to the location of the rattlesnake lodge that was built in 1904 and was destroyed by fire in 1920. This trail is not known for its views but is very interesting to see the ruins of the lodge and its history. It even had a tennis court! Because of its length, history and moderate terrain it is one of my favorites! It is also less than 10 miles from our location!
