the weekend?
On the weekend (Friday afternoon-Saturday evening) there are no supermarkets open except 24-7 expensive ones. So prepare ahead for the weekend. Most places will be closed on Saturday; the old town is open and nice to visit on Saturday. There is an area with a few restaurants open nearby at the "First Station" - less than 10 minutes walk. Cafes open on Saturdays in the city center are Cafe Betzalel, Sira cafe, Bastet. Nice restaurants open are Mona and Menza.
