A fun trip across the bay to Gulf Shores. Definitely plan to make a day of it, shopping and seeing everything Gulf Shores has. Then return to the quiet, laid back island life! I definitely recommend driving, walk on is only fun if you are just there for the ride!

My favorite beach on the island for little ones. In a protected bay, the water is shallow and laps gently. Restrooms are located near the pool and the food and drinks by the pool is a must, especially on Wednesday nights, as live music is a local favorite!

Free! Its an easy bike ride to the bird sanctuary to walk the trails, and catch a glimpse of the alligators!
