Sightseeing

A good walk, either straight from the cottage or from the carpark above the Beach Hut Cafe, is to the Wonky Cafe at the foot of Whitecliff Bay. Leave the carpark onto the footpath on the right. With the sea on your left follow the coastal path. The ground is uneven and there are steps so not suitable to do with a buggy, but great for dogs. A 20 minute walk will take you to the cafe right on the age of the sea.

The Duvet at St helens is a great place to walk if the weather has been wet as it is usually dry underfoot and well draining. From the cottage walk down the hill towards the marina, admire the houseboats and walk on to St Helens. Go over the stone causeway to the sandy dunes and enjoy a coffee at the Baywatch cafe. Allow a couple of hours to wander around and sit on the beach.
