Airport to Bebek
The new airport is 45 minutes from Bebek by car. So this means that by public transport it will take you around 2 hours due to changes you have to take, usually two buses.
Best thing to do with suitcases is to take a taxi.
It is around 140TL max. to go to Bebek from the airport by taxi.

Istanbul Metrocard
If you are staying for a week or more, I suggest you get an Istanbul card to get around. Everybody uses the metro because it skips the traffic and you can get anywhere within 20 minutes max. It costs 6TL and you can get it at any metro or even at the airport and put money on it. Usually ever trip is around 3.20TL which is a lot cheaper than getting a single pass.
