Basically greeting in Thai language

Thai people really love and feel good with foreigner who can greet in Thai (and I believe other host in every country love this too!) Just say 'Sa-was-dee-ka' (for woman) or 'Sa-was-dee-krab' (for man) So you will see a smile on their faces when you say this word. Another useful word is 'Kob-Khun-Ka' (for woman) or 'Kob-Khun-Krub' - (for gentleman) which means THANK YOU. They will be surprised if you can say this word as well.

Try local food!

Phuket is not that expensive, Live like a local is an easy way to save your budget here. Try choosing the restaurant which serves Thai dishes with good price so that you can experience Thai taste and save your travel budget at the same time. Don't forget to order non-spicy or less-spicy (on some spicy menus) if your tongue can't bear hot and spicy taste. Bon appetit!
