Recommendations in and around Fiordland
No doubt you have your holiday activities planned well in advance. but here are a few recommendation from a local perspective.
Operating since October 2004, Fiordland Cinema was specially constructed to house regular screenings of the locally filmed movie ‘Ata Whenua – Shadowland’ (also known as ‘Fiordland on Film’). In addition to the daily screenings of Ata Whenua the cinema also regularly screens new main-stream movies and art house releases (please see home page for our weekly schedule timetables), The cinema has seating for 52 (plus 1 wheelchair bay), enabling a boutique cinema experience . Enjoy a glass of wine or beer during the movie in the comfortable surroundings and large, comfortable seats. Great for those wet days.
