Although we professionally fumigate for ticks + mosquitoes with a non-toxic product during the summer and fall months we suggest you be cautious of ticks. Long Island has a large population of deer and with deer come ticks. Lyme disease is just one of the diseases transmitted through deer ticks. Therefore if you are outside hiking or are near plants it is advisable you check for ticks on your clothing and skin once indoors. There should be a tick remover tool in the first aid kit located in the kitchen pantry. I am happy to answer any tick related questions!

Most Hampton beaches require a permit or the purchase of a daily visitors pass for the larger beaches. Summer visitor beach passes for the entire season can be available with proof of a Hampton’s rental and a fee in the $400 range (check the Southampton website for current fee amount). These can be obtained ahead of time and are good for any Southampton beach for the season.
