One of the older restos in town, it is still owner-run and has the old-school atmosphere of a Happy Days soda shop. You can sit at the twirling round metal bar stools and have some delicious coffee and poached eggs while reading the newspaper (three different languages the last time I was there)

If you don't like it, you are still on one of the more interesting streets in town (St. Laurent) which used to be the wholesale / red-light district back in the day.
