This is a definite must if you have not done it. This hill allows you to have a fantastic view over Rome, and provides you with a good walk. If you arrive at the top of the hill before midday, be sure to get close to the viewing wall as the canon sounds at 12:00.

This is a special place to visit. Sometimes it is very crowded and other times you are the only people there. The park just to the right of the keyhole is nice too with benches, a great view of Rome and the Vatican, and lots of picnic spots. It's completely free. You just walk up to the door and look through the keyhole to see three countries at once…Italy, Vatican State, and Malta (because you are looking thru the Maltese embassy).

Beautiful high end street. Quiet and not many tourists walk down this gem. Ivy stretches across the walls of homes and shops. During the early evenings artists display their art for sale. Great quiet place for pictures. Some movies have been shot on this street and a celebrity was known to have lived here.

This is a beautiful small island in the middle of the Tiber River in Rome.
It can easily be accessed by a number of small bridges, from Trastevere and then across the isle and into the Jewish Ghetto.
The island is mainly home to the Hospital, but it aso has a small shop, cafe and restaurant and the most beautiful church - San Bartolomeo all'Isola.
You can also take a boart trip from the Island, down to Castel Sant'Angelo and back - Definitely worth a visit.

This small shop offers a wide range of gelato flavours. The gelato is moulded onto a stick and you can choose to have it plain or dipped in white, milk or dark chocolate. If covered in chocolate, you can also choose to have it further dipped in nuts or various other sprinkles. You end up with the most amazing pureed fruit ice lolly made exactly to your order in front of your very eyes. My family and I are gelato addicts and the Steccolecco was among the best we had in Rome! I think children would enjoy not just the eating but also the designing of their ice lollies!

It is a restaurant serving typical Roman cuisine. Absolutely recommended to eat a delicious Cacio e Pepe. Not easy to find a place, so I would recommend booking with some days in advance.

Is the meeting of two delicious things: the Roman white pizza, high, soft and tasty that anyone in Rome knows and traditional dishes: "pollo alla cacciatora", eggplant parmesan, beef and more, and for the brave tripe, "coda alla vaccinara", chicken livers. The modest price less than 4 euro each and the goodness of the product mean that you can not just take one, they take the trapezzini in pairs (at least!).
And 'possible to combine it with a few beers, but it is clear that the trapezzino is the main attraction.
It is now an established product, is also found in other places in Rome and outside Rome. Tested, the quality remains the same. Try it, it's an experience!
