“Cross County has some great stores for shopping! They have one of my all time favorite clothing stores, Zara. This is the only Zara location that I am aware of in Westchester. You can also find The Gap, Forever 21, H&M and Ulta to name a few other trendy and popular stores. If you're looking for a bite to eat there are a few options but the best would have to be Shake Shack! The only downside is it is an outdoor shopping center so it is not the best option for shopping on a rainy day and it can get very crowded.”

“so huge, incredible stores, but I don't like enormous place with massive amounts of people...if you don't mind that...this is the place to shop. I prefer Ridge Hill. Smaller version. Outdoor mall. Cooler in my opinion.”

“It’s no wonder that Untermeyer Park is a favorite for wedding photos. Its neoclassical style garden sculpture and fountains are like those seen in Middle Eastern pleasure gardens. The gardens themselves are walled and you almost can’t believe you are steps from busy North Broadway. Below the gardens are 43 acres of grassy park with steps and old ruins of the Greystone estate which the park is a remnant of. There are so many urban legends related to this space, it’s hard not to let the imagination wander. Excellent view of the Hudson River and the Palisade formations from the sculpture gardens. Come see the hidden beauty in Yonkers. ”

“We can’t stop gushing about the Rockefeller largesse. Can you blame us? The family donated the 1,200-plus acres that make up the Rockefeller State Park Preserve, complete with a 22-acre lake (one Manhattanite who spied little turtles sunning themselves on the rocks was overheard exclaiming, “Look, they even have little turtle statues here!”) and miles of old carriage roads and stone bridges. It looks remarkably as it was about a century ago, when the Rockefeller family started buying up land. You can walk your dog (on a leash), hike, jog, cross-country ski, snowshoe, ride your horse (with a permit), or fish for bass (in-season, with a license).”

“Nice place to hangout with friends or solo. The drinks are watered down the bar food or fast food is average. If you're into gambling then this is the place for you. I got for the authmosphere. ”

“Historically significant with beautiful vistas across the Hudson River. Rockefeller's responsible for the beautiful views from our area across the Hudson due to early preservation of land.”

“If you’re a fan of Manhattan’s ABC restaurants (who isn’t?), you’ll love chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s quaint Westchester spot, housed in a painstakingly restored 1833 building. The constantly changing menu is farm-to-table, and many ingredients are sourced from the Hudson Valley. Expect things like peekytoe crab crostini with garlic aioli and Neapolitan-style pizza topped with black truffle and fontina. ”
