The area is economically and racially mixed with old locals, creatives and even famous Stellenbosch restaurateur calling it home. It's a gem of a place and we love staying here! Our cottage is private, spacious and well kitted with power back up for the Wifi & lights. Only 5mins away from the nearby mall, restaurants, wine estates, markets and Techno Park.

For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

Wine Farm Cottage

The cottage offers guests an unique opportunity to stay on a rustic working wine farm. It forms part of the farmstead of a historic wine farm, but has its own little garden with a view over vineyards. It is located on the R44 between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, which makes it the ideal place to reside when exploring the many surrounding wineries and restaurants. The road may be a bit noisy, but most guests hear birds more often than they hear cars. The cottage was built in the 1980’s.
