The quintessential kiwi bach, simple and functional, set in complete privacy within our farm on a stunning site high above all else. Originally hunting huts, this unique holiday home is actually four separate buildings that are linked by a large outdoor deck. We replaced roofing, renewed the decking and renovated the insides to create a unique holiday home that has a special character all its own. The front two pods are the living spaces: kitchen/dining and lounge each with stacker doors which open up onto the central deck. The two rear pods are identical in configuration, each split into a double room and a bunk room with internal access to each other, perfect for one family per pod. The bathroom adjoins the lounge and has a shower over a bath, a toilet and a double vanity. The utility room has washer, dryer and laundry tub and a second toilet. The outdoor shower on the northern deck is a completely open showering experience! Both double bedrooms enjoy the unequalled lake views and you'll wake to see the sun rising over Mount Tarawera. A genuine Stoked Hot Tub sits under a pohutukawa on the edge of the front lawn and is a perfect way to relax and enjoy the vista by day and the famous starfilled lake Tarawera sky by night. The lake bach is ideally suited for...
