Realmente mi experiencia en casa de Anastazio fue bastante mala. Lo primero que debe de saber quien pretenda ir es que no se alquila mas que las habitaciones por lo que ese salón tan bonito que se ve en las fotografías no lo va a poder usar porque resulta que es el espacio que él…

Jose Antonio and his family stayed at my loft 2 weeks ago. During their stay I had no problems except the fact that from their first night they brought an extra guest (their son) to stay with them without informing me in advance. They were trying to cheat thinking that they are going to have all the apartment for them, that's why they had their son to wait downstairs for about 30 minutes until I leave my apartment. When they noticed that they were thinking wrong and that they have booked the rooms and not the whole apartment then they had no other choice than bringing their son and asked me to host him for the next days. In order not to create problems to them I welcome their son and I provided him the option to stay with his family, even though I never had been asked from the family if I wanted and if the listing was able to accommodate 6 persons or not. During their stay, I had no problem with them, besides we were chatting well even though they were out most of the time. During their last night I kindly asked them to pay me 19 EUR, based on my Airbnb fees, for the extra guest who stayed with them during the 3 nights stay at my loft. It was not the 57 EUR that would made the difference, however it was matter of principle for me, especially after bringing an extra guest without asking me in advance. As an excuse not pay they mentioned that their son's arrival was a last minute decision and they were thinking that they were booking a whole apartment and not just a room (something that in my description mentions clearly that you book the rooms and not the whole apartment). In addition they mentioned that their stay wasn't comfortable enough because they had to sleep with their son together at the same room and also they were out most of the day, so they were using the facilities of the loft only during the night and the morning, so for them the money that they have already paid were enough to add another guest without paying. When I sent a reply to their message mentioning that it was their choice to bring another guest not mine and that the loft can host 4 persons, bringing their son here, meant 6 persons and the uncomfortable and unpleasant stay with all the problems this had to them all was more than sure that it's going to happen, however that was their choice and not mine. In addition, the excuse that they haven't used the loft much during the day and based on that they didn't want to pay for the extra person it was not fair, it was again their choice to be out and not mine. I am really wondering, if you go to a hotel and book for 3 nights, will you go to the Hotel Manager and ask him to make you a discount because you were all the day out and you didn't use the room enough? It's not the 57 EUR, it's the principle and unfortunately I had to create a ticket to the resolution centre and ask from Airbnb to get involved because Mr Jose Antonio never replied to my message to him. Airbnb took the decision and refunded me the extra cost of 57 EUR and I really thank them because that was the right thing! Based of what Mr Jose Antonio mentions to his review I can say this: I am a Host since May 2014 and I have hosted so many persons so far. My experience with them was the only negative one, however that cannot make me change my whole mentality about the hospitality and the service I provide to my guests! Replying to his comments, I can say that: What Mr Jose Antonio mentions about the living room is not true, because they all used the facilities of the living room every morning cooking and having breakfast and siting on the comfortable couch watching TV during the night. If they were thinking that they will be alone and when they were coming to my loft they were choosing some of them to go to their rooms was not my preference, it was their choice. I have never denied someone's presence in the living room, besides from all the reviews that I have so far you can easily notice that I do interact pretty well with my guests, unfortunately not with Mr Jose Antonio's family. Also on my listing it's totally clear that everyone who wants to book, books only a room not the whole apartment, means that the Host lives there. The fact that Mr Jose Antonio was not aware for that, hoping that he is going to have the whole apartment for his family and bringing an extra person without mentioning it in order not to pay the extra cost, makes me a bad host, I am really wondering? Am I a bad host or is he a bad guest? In addition, he is mentioning that I didn't offer coffee to them. From the first moment that they came, I didn't feel that I had the spark and the desire to do the extra things that I am doing with the majority of my guests as everyone can read on my reviews. I am sorry Mr Jose Antonio, but you should have known that you are not booking a room in a hotel with breakfast or meals, you book a room and if the host wants can provide you anything he wants to please you but if he doesn't want then he provides you only with the service that he has to provide to you before your arrival, a very clean apartment and very clean rooms with soft and clean towels. Regarding the pizza that I was cooking Mr Jose Antonio, I would like to inform you that it was my dinner, my dinner! I didn't know that I had to feed your kids, I believe that you confuse my priorities with yours! You should have been aware of your kids needs and you should have provided them with a proper meal not me. It's really crazy to accuse me that I didn't give my dinner to your kids, don't you think? I read that comment and I am sorry but made me laugh loud. I believe that everyone who will be able to read your comments and my response will laugh loudly too. Regarding the comments about the sofa, I never hided that the second room is a sofa which becomes a bed, if you have a look of my pictures you can easily notice that the second room is a sofa which become a bed for two, pictures is the real proof that you hadn't spent time to read my description and all the above problems created to you, but it's ok with me, I believe that this story can improve your experience on Airbnb in the future. In addition to what I have mentioned before regarding the fact that you never read my description well is the fact that I mention on my listing that the centre is half an hour walking distance, so you should have known that from the beginning and not make you annoyed of course. At the end with regret I read that you feel that the cost of your stay was expensive. I am kindly asking you to find me a hotel here in Dublin which could provide you two or three rooms for 6 persons and for the period that you booked it in the middle of August with less than 146 EUR that I offered you and I will be more than happy to give you the whole amount back from my personal account. It's the first time that I am facing such an unfair and negative experience, I thought that the Spanish Nation were proud and good persons but my recent experience with you start making me rethink it... Thank you! And my response in Spanish as well, excuse me but I am going to use an online translation tool: José Antonio y su familia se quedaron en mi desván hace 2 semanas. Durante su estancia no tuve ningún problema, excepto el hecho de que a partir de su primera noche trajeron un huésped adicional (su hijo) para quedarse con ellos sin que me informa por adelantado. Ellos estaban tratando de engañar pensando que van a tener todo el apartamento para ellos, es por eso que tenían a su hijo a esperar abajo durante unos 30 minutos hasta que me vaya a mi apartamento. Cuando se dieron cuenta de que estaban pensando mal y que se han reservado las habitaciones y no todo el apartamento entonces no tenían otra opción que llevar a su hijo y me pidió que lo acogerá durante los próximos días. Con el fin de no crear problemas a ellos doy la bienvenida a su hijo y yo le proporcioné la opción de quedarse con su familia, a pesar de que nunca habían pedido a la familia si quería y si la lista era capaz de acomodar a 6 personas o no. Durante su estancia, no tuve ningún problema con ellos, además estábamos charlando bien a pesar de que estábamos fuera la mayor parte del tiempo. Durante su última noche que amablemente les pedí que me pagar 19 euros, basado en mis honorarios Airbnb, para la persona extra que se quedó con ellos durante las 3 noches de estancia en mi palomar. No era la 57 euros que marcó la diferencia, sin embargo, era cuestión de principio para mí, sobre todo después de traer una persona extra sin preguntarme por adelantado. Como una excusa para no pagar mencionaron que la llegada de su hijo era una decisión de último minuto y que estaban pensando que estaban reservando un apartamento entero y no sólo una habitación (algo que en mi descripción menciona claramente que reserves las habitaciones y no todo el apartamento ). Además se mencionó que su estancia no fue lo suficientemente cómodo porque tenían que dormir con su hijo juntos en la misma habitación y también estaban fuera la mayor parte del día, por lo que estaban usando las instalaciones del desván sólo durante la noche y la mañana, así que para ellos el dinero que ya han pagado fuera suficiente para agregar otro de los invitados sin tener que pagar. Cuando me envió una respuesta a su mensaje de mencionar que fue su elección para llevar a otro invitado no la mía y que el desván puede alojar 4 personas, con lo que su hijo aquí, significaba 6 personas y la estancia incómoda y desagradable con todos los problemas que esto tenía que todos ellos era más que seguro de que va a suceder, sin embargo, que era su elección y no la mía. Además, la excusa de que no han utilizado el desván mucho durante el día y en base a que no quieren pagar por la persona extra que no era justo, era de nuevo su elección para ser el mío y no. Realmente estoy preguntando, si vas a un hotel y reservar para 3 noches, vas a ir a la gerente del hotel y pedir que él te hacen un descuento porque estaba todo el día fuera y que no utilice el espacio suficiente? No es el 57 euros, que es el principio y por desgracia tuve que crear una entrada para el centro de resolución y pedir de Airbnb involucrarse porque el señor José Antonio nunca respondió a mi mensaje para él. Airbnb tomó la decisión y me devolvió el coste adicional de 57 euros y realmente les agradezco porque eso era lo correcto! En base de lo que el señor José Antonio menciona a su opinión, puedo decir esto: Yo soy un anfitrión desde mayo de 2014 y me he alojado muchas personas hasta ahora. Mi experiencia con ellos fue el único negativo, sin embargo eso no puede hacerme cambiar toda mi mentalidad sobre la hospitalidad y el servicio que proporciono a mis clientes! En respuesta a sus comentarios, puedo decir que: Lo que el señor José Antonio menciona acerca de la sala de estar no es cierto, ya que todos ellos utilizan las instalaciones de la sala de estar cada mañana para cocinar y tener el desayuno y la ubicación en el cómodo sofá viendo la televisión durante la noche . Si ellos estaban pensando que van a estar solo y cuando venían a mi palomar estaban escogiendo algunos de ellos para ir a sus habitaciones no era mi preferencia, fue su elección. Nunca he negado la presencia de alguien en la sala de estar, además de todas las críticas que tengo hasta ahora se puede notar fácilmente que me relaciono bastante bien con mis invitados, por desgracia, no con la familia del señor José Antonio. También en mi lista es totalmente claro que todos los que quieran reservar, libros sólo no las habitaciones todo el apartamento, significa que el anfitrión vive allí. El hecho de que el Sr. José Antonio no era consciente de que, con la esperanza de que él va a tener todo el apartamento para su familia y traer una persona extra sin mencionarlo para no pagar el costo extra, me hace un mal anfitrión, estoy realmente preguntando? ¿Soy una mala acogida o es un mal invitado? Además, se está mencionando que yo no ofrezco café para ellos. Desde el primer momento en que llegaron, no me sentía que tenía la chispa y el deseo de hacer las cosas extras que estoy haciendo con la mayoría de mis invitados como todo el mundo puede leer en mis opiniones. Siento que el señor José Antonio, pero que debería haber sabido que no se está reservando una habitación en un hotel con el desayuno o las comidas, usted reserva una habitación y si el huésped quiere le puede proporcionar todo lo que quiera por favor a usted, pero si él doesn 't quiere luego te ofrece sólo con el servicio que tiene que ofrecer a usted antes de su llegada, un apartamento muy limpio y las habitaciones muy limpias con toallas suaves y limpias. En cuanto a la pizza que yo estaba cocinando Sr. Jose Antonio, me gustaría informarle de que era mi cena, mi cena! No sabía que tenía que alimentar a sus hijos, creo que confundes mis prioridades con los tuyos! Usted debe haber estado al tanto de sus necesidades de los niños y que debería haber les proporcionó una comida adecuada no yo. Es realmente una locura para acusarme de que yo no le di mi cena con sus hijos, ¿no te parece? Leí ese comentario y lo siento, pero me hizo reír en voz alta. Creo que todo el que será capaz de leer sus comentarios y mi respuesta se reirá en voz alta también. En cuanto a los comentarios sobre el sofá, nunca escondió que la segunda habitación es un sofá que se convierte en una cama, si usted tiene un vistazo de mis imágenes se puede notar fácilmente que la segunda habitación es un sofá que se convierten en una cama para dos personas, imágenes es la prueba real de que usted no había pasado el tiempo para leer mi descripción y todos los problemas anteriores creados para usted, pero no está mal conmigo, creo que esta historia puede mejorar su experiencia en Airbnb en el futuro. Además de lo que he mencionado antes en relación con el hecho de que nunca leyeron bien mi descripción es el hecho de que yo menciono en mi anuncio de que el centro se encuentra a media hora de distancia a pie, por lo que debería haber sabido que desde el principio y no se hacen molesto por supuesto. Al final con pesar he leído que usted siente que el costo de su estancia era caro. Anastazio has a great apartment in an ideal location! He helped me plan my day in Dublin and went out of his way to make sure I had a good time. His place is just as described in the listing. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Anastazio is a charming, warm and gregarious host. Immediately made me feel welcome and put me at ease in his home. His loft is stunning and his calm positive energy enhanced my stay. No hesitation in recommending him to others.

Dear Lynn, after compliments I would like to thank you for your feedback. I value your feedback and it really makes me wonder what I could do to avoid similar feedback in future. I can recall in my memory that the last negative review before yours was in December 2016 and we have April 2018 now! That means in my eyes that I really deserve being a SuperHost on Airbnb, something that you unfairly doubted it at the end of your review. Now, please accept few comments based on your review. Numerous feedback one after the other always remark of the cleanliness of my loft. My cleanliness rate reaches the remarkable 98% Lynn, and everyone can read the reviews from previous guests mentioning this. The probability of your negative review is probably one out of one hundred reviews. However I will take your review on board but I would like to point out to you and remind you that you were not present at the check in but two of your friends whom I checked them early and you arrived the second day. In addition, they were more than happy with the sleeping arrangements as well as the cleanliness of the apartment, the cleanliness of the linen, pillow cases and towels and when I asked them if there are any questions and concerns before I left the loft, they were more than happy with everything and they were grateful that I managed to check them in earlier that day. Unfortunately you didn't mention that at your review but it's fine, no hard feelings. Regarding your comments about the coffee, tea and milk, I am more than happy to offer anything I have in this apartment with my guests, anything trust me here! There are so many reviews here mentioning this and I am so proud and happy sharing things with my guests! I have done this in the past and I am more than sure that I will be doing this in the future. I have cooked for guests, guests have cooked for me and that's Airbnb at the end, sharing things and moments. I would like to remind you that my listing doesn't provide breakfast but you knew that before you book my listing Lynn. However only 90 meters far away from the loft there is a mini market where anyone could buy anything and enjoy a breakfast, a meal or a dinner! Regarding your comment about the key, thank you for your valuable feedback. From the beginning the easiest thing would be to make few key copies but I am working on it to find a better solution than that in order to guarantee a smoothly stay for groups like yours without putting in danger the safety of the building/apartment/guests. The safety of the building/residents as well as the safety of my guests and my apartment is my highest priority! Last but not least, the Uber Promo Code of 10 EUR works for everyone who uses the app for first time. Obviously you have used Uber and you have applied another Promo Code in the past, that's why my Promo Code didn't work at your mobile. So, accusing me also for not getting the Uber free ride when you have used it already in the past, makes me a bad Host in your eyes! Wow! That's not fair Lynn, allowed me to say that... Please, talk to your Hosts in the future, your Hosts are always available to assist you and ready to do their utmost to help you enjoy your stay. If I remember correctly, the next day of your stay, I texted you to check if you arrived well and if everything was ok, if you wanted something extra to ring me and I will be back to you straight away or if you were unhappy with something and your answer was more positive than your review here. The whole Airbnb Philosophy is what makes it different than staying in a hotel room! Meeting new people, new cultures, interact and laugh with people you never had the chance to meet and of course to pay less than in a normal hotel room. This is Airbnb and this what I can offer to my guests with my listing, a value for money and super clean accommodation, no matter what age they are, no matter what gender or sexual preferences they have. I respect my guests Lynn, I respect their needs and I appreciate their choice to become their Host and help them enjoy their stay and their holidays at my listing! Beautiful apartment, great location and amenities onsite, perfect for one to two couple or family of 2+2 . Very secure with parking for one vehicle provided for free, excellent host who was very helpful
