Reported to have housed Babe Ruth when used as a hunting lodge, this historic cabin built into a restored barn is a relaxing retreat in one of the most beautiful areas of the Berkshires. Ideal for couples, outdoor enthusiasts or anyone looking to get away from the hustle of everyday life.
A wall of huge windows looks out onto the forest and brook, filling the space with golden light. Walk or bike to nearby mountain trails, lakes and waterfalls or head into one of the many charming towns nearby.
There's a queen bed and a single pull out bed, a small kitchen and dining area, and a full bathroom. The space is set up like a large studio with a vaulted ceiling.
We'll provide farm fresh basics for breakfast and the equipment needed to cook yourself other meals (depending on the season you may also get a basket of fresh vegetables or arrangement of flowers from our gardens).
The barn sits next to a farm house built in the 1840s where your host family lives should you need anything. The buildings sit on 30 acres of land with established plantings and mature forest, all of which is available for walks, mountain biking, etc.

We live in the farm house next door to the barn, and we're happy to interact as much or as little as you like.
Please treat the space as you would your own.
My wife Sefira and I love great food, travel, and all sorts of outdoor things--but we're also homebodies. We really enjoy our home and spending time in it. We've put a good bit of effort into creating a space that we love and want to be in, and we hope you'll love it, too!
