Our cabins are located directly on the Conejos River with everything you could need for your stay. In addition we have a beautiful pond stocked with trout. Catch and release barbless hook fly fishing is available by reservation on our river or pond separate from booking the cabin for an additional fee. PLEASE NOTE FISHING IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED. The San Luis Valley is known for the beautiful mountains, with great hunting and fishing. We are a 15 minute drive to Cumbres and Toltec Scenic railroad, 1 hour to Zapata Falls and Great Sand Dunes National Park, 45 minutes to Colorado Gators Reptile Park. We allow full access to our home but not the garage. We do not allow any type of smoking indoors.

Get away from it all in our remote, contemporary style, off-grid, Colorado treehouse, located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains at 10K ft elevation. Relax on the deck while taking in the amazing views of Culebra Peak or gaze at the star filled skies. A tiny wood-burning stove will keep you cozy and warm. The sectional couch is used as a super-sized bed. Older kids (or average sized adults) can sleep in the small overhead loft on a 3 inch queen foam topper.

Private Cabin on the Conejos River

We offer a great cabin, a stones thrown from the river on our elk ranch. Our all-season cabin can accommodate couples, or groups up to 6, and serve as a home base or launching spot for the areas countless activities. We also offer fly fishing access, if available with a rod fee, this is seperate from cabin, and must be booked in advance. We charge a $100 per pet fee.
