Cotswolds Holiday Cottage is nestled in the village of Hamsterley with unrestricted countryside views and within 1/2 mile to Hamsterley Forest popular with mountain bikers, horse riders and walkers alike . The beautiful village of Hamsterley boasts village greens and a fantastic local country pub. Enjoy a break with well behaved dogs and children more than welcome. A large enclosed garden with a low wall allows uninterrupted views over countryside and enjoyment of our many animals, incl alpacas.

Mickleton is a small village close to both Barnard Castle and Middleton - in - Teesdale .There are good country pubs close by and scenic walks .

It boasts a magnificent Norman castle on the spectacular Swale river with plenty of walks and sight-seeing, both locally and further afield in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

It is a great location for visiting the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District national parks. An amazing and special place for friends or family to get together for a weekend retreat, short break or longer holiday.
