Our Place at Hawley Beach

We would like to welcome you to Our Place on the foreshore at Hawley Beach. Our Place has been in our family for over 40 years and holds many happy memories. Now we would like to offer you the opportunity to experience beautiful Hawley Beach, make lasting memories of your own. Whether you want to explore the beach or just sit on the deck enjoying the great view. Our Place is the perfect location to holiday and to explore the North West Coast of Tasmania. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Portsea Cottage

Our light-filled cottage is situated in a quiet street a short stroll to beaches, and local amenities. It is a 15 minute drive to the Devonport airport and a 5 minute drive to the local shopping precinct. Our peaceful cottage has two large bedrooms. Bedroom 1 contains a king size bed which can also be configured as twin singles upon request. Bedroom 2 contains a queen size bed. Detached from the house is a bungalow which also contains a queen size bed and has its own sitting area and toilet.

Located one hour drive from Launceston through picturesque vineyard countryside and just a short drive to world renowned Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm links courses, this compact modern detached townhouse is one of two built in 2021, each property features two spacious bedrooms (king beds) and two bathrooms. A short stroll to beaches, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and playgrounds. Otherwise, spend the day relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views across the beaches and Barnbougle Dunes.

Escape to Little Lempriere. A perfect couples retreat or a family stay. This luxurious two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is on the waterfront in Beauty Point. Enjoy stunning views from the spa on the private deck or cosy up around the fire pit. The home includes a well equipped kitchen and an open plan living space. Guests can make use of the free kayaks to explore the river or relax in the hot tub. In the heart of Tamar Valley wine region. Platypus House/Seahorseworld a short walk away.

Shack Ahoy! A quirky little place to kick off your shoes and get comfy, Shack Ahoy offers a unique stay in the beautiful seaside town of Bridport. This quaint and comfortable little abode is our place; it’s furnished with our things and decorated to our taste! This is where we come to escape the demands of daily life. To walk on the sand, to allow the briny sea air to enliven our senses, to splash in the waves, to connect with the natural world. Shack Ahoy offers a mix of old and new.

Do you remember how it feels to be totally relaxed & let all cares pass you by? At Moon Tide we encourage you to embrace the location, the sea & the serenity. You can sleep in quality beds and soak in the outdoor spa. Enjoy the outdoor or indoor fire, while you use one of our special card decks to reconnect. Kick back on the plush, linen sofas and enjoy a book or just rest. The ocean is directly opposite & a short stroll to Greens Beach main beach. There’s many enchanting walkways.

Freer’s Beach House has everything you could need for a holiday with family and friends or a peaceful getaway. Freers’s Beach is only a 20 minute drive from Devonport and a 60 minute drive from Launceston. Located at the end of a quiet esplanade with no through traffic your beach house is surrounded by bushland, protected by the dunes and only 20 metres to the beach.

Greens Beach Family Holiday Home

Our "shack" at Greens Beach is a comfortable holiday home for our family (including 2 dogs!) and we have tried to set it up for all the activities that the area offers (and we love!). It is 5 minutes walk to the beach (less if you have a Labrador or large water loving dog!), shop, golf club and tennis courts. We have provided most of the basics for these activities! It is a perfect spot to relax or a base to explore what the Tamar Valley has to offer!

"Elddaw". A two bedroom workman's cottage built in 1970 backing onto the water. Shoal Bay just 20 meters from the door and Greens Beach just 10 minutes walk away along National Park Coastal track or along sealed road. One double bed in each room, two bathrooms laundry, kitchen with dishwasher, living room with TV, DVD, Wifi. Reverse cycle air-con in main area and electric oil heaters in each room.Tank water. Plenty of yard space and car parks.

On Beauty Point's waterfront, overlooking kanamaluka / River Tamar, Beachside is a unique and spacious Arts and Crafts style home with enviable views from almost every window. Built in 1950, she is - as guests have described: a "perfectly imperfect" - old dame, lovingly maintained as a comfortable home. The decor & furnishings are in keeping with that era, while gentle renovations provide modern conveniences in the kitchen & bathrooms.

Sandpiper is a stunning beach house only minutes from the Lagoon Beach. Enjoy the open fire, chill out in our spacious lounge or explore the local beaches, bike or food and wine trails. There are 3 bedrooms to choose from: a king, queen or twin rooms. Two and a half bathrooms and a modern kitchen/dining room are perfect for families to self cater. The entire house and yard is private, spacious and yours to enjoy.
