Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Cosy lakeview cabin 45 minutes from Reykjavik

A lakeside cabin at the foot of Medalfell mountain with direct access to the lake. A peaceful place with a beautiful lakeview where you can relax to the gentle sounds of the water. On the terrace is a barrel sauna with a beautiful view over the lake. The surrounding area is full of nature and a good starting point for little hikes. Good location for day trips to Snæfellsnes and the Golden Circle. During the winter time is a good chance of seeing the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis).

This cosy cabin is located in the beautiful valley of Kjós, 35 minutes outside of Reykjavik and close to Þingvellir National Park. It is located in a peaceful summer house area surrounded by trees and birdsong, with possibilities for hiking right from the front door. Within 30 minutes driving you can access Þingvellir and the start of the golden circle in one direction, or Hvalfjörður (whale fjord) in the other: a scenic area with one of the best hikes in Iceland, Glymur waterfall.

This beautiful cabin is only 40 min from Reykjavík for 4 people in two queen size beds (one bedroom and a loft). Hot tub, gas grill, wifi, Netflix, bathroom with shower and cozy fireplace. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The cabin is close to Hvalfjörður, Hvammsvík Hot springs, Glymur (Iceland's tallest waterfall), Thingvellir (30 min), Golden Circle and Snæfellsnes (170 km). Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.

Private 40 m² suite within a two-storey cabin. You have the entire suite to yourself, not the entire cabin building. 1 hr 20 min from Keflavík Airport, 45 min from Reykjavík and 36 min from Þingvellir National Park. From Reykjavík, take the second Route 460 entrance. The final 3.5 km is a countryside gravel road. The first entrance has about 7 km of gravel road. For 3 guests, the third guest uses the comfortable single bed in the living room.

Hraðastaðir 6 cabin on a farm

Cosy cabin located on a farm only 20 minutes from Reykjavík!:) on the way to the golden circle which offers room for 4 people. Come and stay at our farm and visit our wonderful animals. There are also fun experiences around our farm such as a lot of beautiful hiking trails, horse riding and more. Very good for families. It's a very good location to plan day trips from. If there are northern lights you can see right outside the door.

Excellent location--only 45-minutes to Reykjavik and Thingvellir National Park. Close by to Glymur Waterfall and many great hiking paths. A GREAT PLACE FOR WATCHING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS. For summertime visits (July), we have bug sprays available for the no see ums (Lúsmý) as well as window nets.

It has a simple but well equipped kitchen, electric heating and shower. It is ideal for groups of 4 or 5 but can accommodate up to 7 guests if utilizing the double sofa bed in the living area.

A cozy and rustic studio by the sea. A small cabin located behind our house. Kitchen, bathroom and a queen size bed. Movie projector with Netflix and other stations. Dartboard and cattle bells.
