Rocky Mountain Lakehouse is a cozy, alpine-inspired cottage on Hirtle Lake, centrally located in the heart of Nova Scotia. Just steps from the shoreline, our charming retreat offers a private, relaxing escape with plenty of nearby tourist destinations, close to many attractions. *The base rate covers up to 5 guests; additional fees apply for groups of 6–8. For added comfort groups of 7 or 8 are provided access to the 3rd bedroom in the basement. (note: the basement does not have a washroom)

Cottages are just down the road from big mush mush lake which has a public beach area and also sweet land beach is located a bit further down the road! We have lots of wildlife to see from a local beaver to bald eagles and cows grazing on the farm across the lake!
